Recorded: October 26, 2017
Description: Having access to reliable legal research tools and current, accurate forms from trusted sources is an important component of effective and efficient legal drafting. Adapting documents for accuracy and proper formatting is just as critical. This CLE program guides attendees in using three of the most popular legal databases-- Westlaw, Lexis, and O’Connor’s -- to locate legal forms. In the second part of the program, the presenters demonstrate editing techniques in Microsoft Word that can be used to customize forms found through legal research.
CLE Credit: 1.0 hours in Texas (credit available November 1, 2017 through October 18, 2018) - report credit through the State Bar of Texas Website.
