Justice for All: A New World for LGBTQIA+ Families explores the complex legal landscape surrounding modern family structures and relationships, addressing critical issues attorneys face when representing LGBTQIA+ clients in family law and immigration matters. Participants will examine the evolving definition of family units including polyamorous and transgender families, navigate the intricacies of X gender markers on legal documents under both federal and Texas state law, and explore the establishment and validation of various marriage forms.
