The Harris County Robert W. Hainsworth Law Library is committed to providing free access to a comprehensive legal research and reference collection in print and digital formats.

Print Collection

The Law Library has more than 30,000 printed materials on Texas and Federal Law. Major collections include Texas and Federal cases, statutes, and regulations, State Bar of Texas CLE materials, and topical treatises and practice guides.

Please note: To ensure information is available to all patrons daily, law books cannot be checked out.

Electronic Resources

The Law Library provides computers for legal research. Each computer is equipped with Microsoft Word and Excel to assist with drafting and editing documents.
