Program description: Join the Executive Director of the Harris County Managed Assigned Counsel (MAC) Office for an overview of indigent defense services in Harris County. This presentation will explore how the MAC Office administers assigned counsel programs, collaborates with the Harris County Public Defender's Office and private defense attorneys, and works to ensure access to quality legal representation for individuals who cannot afford an attorney.
