The Harris County Law Library is happy to announce that it has recently added Preview of United States Supreme Court Cases to its HeinOnline database collection. Published by the American Bar Association, Preview of United States Supreme Court Cases is an excellent resource with which Supreme Court watchers can better educate themselves about the cases coming up for oral argument before the Court. Each issue of Preview includes a summary of the issues presented to the Court, a statement of the facts, expert case analysis, and the significance that the particular case holds for the legal community and the public as a whole and how the Court's decision could impact future cases and legislation.
As with other resources on the HeinOnline database, Preview of United States Supreme Court Cases is fully searchable. There are hyperlinks to cited cases and statutes, so you can easily familiarize yourself with the cases and laws on which the parties are relying for support or attempting to differentiate.
