June is LGBT Pride Month, and we at the Harris County Robert W. Hainsworth Law Library are celebrating! Over the years, Ex Libris Juris has provided content and resources for individuals and families in the LGBT community. We’ve explored landmark civil rights cases, significant historical moments in the march for equality, and more. We’ve also helped promote the services of the Trans Legal Aid Clinic, a local nonprofit that assists trans folks in drafting petitions for gender marker correction.
Just before the pandemic (March 2020), we created two legal research guides, one that features resources available at the Harris County Hainsworth Law Library and another that provides links to community and internet resources.
