Texans can check their voter registration status, local polling locations, and review their sample ballot on VoteTexas.gov. For resources specific to Harris County, visit HarrisVotes.com for information from the Harris County Elections Department.
In a historic first for the county, Harris County will be conducting a joint primary election. Both the Republican and Democratic parties will hold the election in common precincts, and voters from both parties will cast votes using the same voting equipment on Election Day.

February 5: Last day to register to vote
February 23: deadline to submit ballot by mail application
February 20-March 1: early voting in-person
March 5: Primary Election Day, polls open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
March 28: Primary Runoff (if needed)

October 7: Last day to register to vote
October 21: First day of early voting
October 25: Last day to apply for ballot by mail
November 5: General Election Day
